  1. It is important to understand certain symbols and drawing instruments in landscaping because it leads into your career and working in an agricultural field of study it is a necessary component in order to be able to plan, design, communicate, etc in landscapes.

It is important to know symbols are drawing instruments because if you are a landscaper working with other landscapers, they are going to be using these symbols and you have to know what the symbols represent. When taking on clients they might need you to do something specific that requires knowledge on how to use drawing instruments. In order to give them what they want you first have to know what you're doing.

    1. Yes I agree with jasmine because, if you are using the wrong instrument or don't know the correct symbols it could harm your chances of doing a good job on the landscape and could disappoint the client as well.
