Why is learning the colors in landscape design important?

  1. it is important because you have to know you might have a specific design request for an client and if they want a particular color you must have the right knowledge to fufill their needs

    1. Kiara is correct, it is important to know the colors in landscape design because while you are working with clients it is expected of you to provide proper information regarding the design. Clients hire landscape designers assuming that they have all of the background knowledge necessary in order to successfully fulfill their job and create the proper landscape.

Color in landscapes is also important because a landscape designer must be able to identify colors that go well together and complement each other in order to create a successful design.

  5. It is important to learn and know colors in landscaping when it comes to the change in seasons. When it comes to summer you should usually lean more towards warmer colors. While in the winter you should use colors that are cooler and that can even be discribed as "less friendly". You also want to know this when dealing with clients so you are able to create a more well rounded landscape.

  7. Becausse there are basic colors that make up secondy and tretriary colors that are more complex and that you see more often. Primary colors like red and yellow can make up very diverse scenes.
