    4. This is true. When pests eat through the plant within the landscape the plant will not be less appealing to the people. Also they ruin the fruits or vegetables that are growing on the plant by eating through parts of it and leaving the rest to waste.

    5. I agree with aschante because the whole purpose of landscape design is to have a pretty landscape, and if the plants are being eaten by the pests then the landscape is useless.

  5. Pests in a landscape are detrimental because they have the ability to interfere with a plants ability to grow and develop. Pests can often eat through the leaves of a plant and they can also eat the fruit or vegetable that is growing on the plant, making it uneatable.

    1. It could be really bad if you depend on the fruits from your landscape for profit because if the pests ate the fruits you would not have any fruits to sell.

    2. Emily is right about the pests ability to not only ruin the plant, but stop theplant from future growing and ability to eat.

  6. Pests in a landscape could be extremely detrimental because they could feed off of the plants or could feed off of the same nutrients the plants feed off of. Both possibilities prevents the full growth of the plants in the landscape.

  12. I feel that the pest would make it detrimental because of the damage they can release upon the plants such ass food garden crops. Which may withhold a enormous amount of veggies that humans depend on daily.
